Since today is Friday, many Muslims will be heading to the mosque for Friday Prayer. Prayer in Islam is one of the five pillars, it is called “salat”. It is the mandatory ritual prayer that is performed five times per day, at specific times, while facing Mecca. There is no freedom in this prayer, and it must be recited in Arabic. Islam also recommends the “du’a” prayers, which can be free formed prayers of praise and supplication. And many Muslims are haunted by fears that when they die the obligation to prayer will be unmet.
Seek God and ask Him how He would have you pray for Muslims today as they are heading to the mosque. And thank Him that someone has prayed for you.
