Hear me, Yahweh, I need to know you do, because I am poor and needy. Not poor monetarily but emotionally, socially and spiritually poor!
Guard my life in you, for I am devoted to you; lead me to an even deeper devotion. You are my God, save your servant who trusts in you. Help me to trust you more.
Have mercy on me Yahweh for I call to you all day and all night. I am desperate to hear from you. I don’t know how to pray.
Bring joy back to me, your servant, for to you, O Lord, I lift up myself, offering you everything I know I am and all I know I am not.
You are forgiving and good, Lord, abounding in love, even to me, as I call on you.
Do you hear me? I am desperate to hear you!
This has been a troubling day, indeed several troubling days and weeks! I am calling to you because I know you will answer!
There is no one like you! You alone are great, you alone work wonders. Every nation will come before you and worship you and bring you glory!
You are great and awesome! Beyond my understanding! Amazing and Holy!
Teach me your way, Yahweh, and I will walk in your truth. I need your Spirit inside me moving me to obedience! Give me an undivided heart! That I may fear your name; more than anything this is what I desire, give me pure motives.
And I will praise you, God, with all my heart! I will glorify your name forever!
Your love is GREAT towards me! You have delivered me from death, in more ways than one.
The enemy is attacking me! They hate you and they hate me and everyone I hold dear!
But I know you are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger (thank goodness!) abounding in love and faithfulness!
Turn to me and have mercy on me. (Thank you for I feel your mercy already.) Grant your strength to me, your servant. I desperately need it! I know I will not “make it” without your strength.
Give me a sign of your goodness so that any against me would see it and be put to shame for their evil. For you, Yahweh, have helped me and comforted me. Thank you!
